Description: The aroma of our organically grown Spike Lavender carries the sweet, floral and fresh aroma that is classic to the lavender family, however what makes it unique is its higher camphor content, which brings in a sharp, refreshing and herbaceous aspect with dry woody undertones. This variety of lavender is most useful for cold/flu, respiratory aid, muscles spasms/pain, headaches (especially when combined with peppermint!) and for hair loss. All lavenders support the Central Nervous System, assist with calming anxiety, alleviating depression and cooling heat in the liver. Lavenders in general are anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, anti-infectious, anti-inflammatory, anti-spasmatic, anti-rheumatic and support the qi of the heart. Spike Lavender is a useful and comforting friend when one needs the stimulation and encouragement to complete a project, yet also needs the calm composure that keeps things flowing and maintains strong energy and creative inspiration.
