Description: Bergamot is refreshing and uplifting yet calming and stabilizing. The aroma is of citrus that is more earthy than orange, but still fruity and floral. It can ease anxiety and frustration yet lift us out of depression and self-defeating behaviors. Bergamot is anti-bacterial, anti-infectious, anti-viral, anti-spasmatic, anti-inflammatory and a digestive aid. It is a tonic to the CNS and smooths the flow of qi-energy throughout the body and mind, making it good for mood swings, repressed emotions (especially anger/rage) and insomnia.

*Citrus oils are phototoxic and must be used with awareness. The standard recommendation is to avoid exposing the area of application to direct sunlight for up to 12 hours after applying. Always do a test patch first to see how your skin responds.
